In 1981 I first set
eyes on this majestic breed. It was love at first sight.
Later that same year I had the pleasure of riding an Andalusian
stallion named Majorio. It took my breath away! I owned
an Arabian-Quarter Horse mare named Princess Brandy Lee. In
1982 I bred her to Majorio. The result was a beautiful filly I
named Madrugada DF.

Back then part-bred
Andalusians were few and far between. There were not any
classes at the IALHA shows for them. So I took her to the
local open shows and had a blast showing her. No one could
figure out what breed she was. I was a young teenager then and
now as an adult I can finally pursue my passions of owning and
breeding high quality Andalusians and American
Aztecas.

In 2002 my dream of
owning a purebred Andalusian became reality. It has been one
of the most wonderful and rewarding experiences of my life. I
would not change it for the world!
